LA SELECT NORTH
SERVING THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY
LA SELECT NORTH is an extension of LA SELECT that serves the San Fernando Valley region. The LA Select North program started in the Summer of 2023, and operates out of Glendale. We offer both Summer and Fall/Winter programming annually.
LA SELECT NORTH has been a game-changer for this region. We’re building a competitive, tight-knit community where athletes push each other to improve every single day. Here, you’ll sharpen your skills, develop your lacrosse IQ, and gain valuable game experience alongside players who are just as driven as you are.
Since we launched, we’ve seen a major shift in the level of play in the Valley. Our athletes are faster, smarter, and more confident, and that momentum is showing up in the success of their respective high school programs. The investment in offseason training is making a real impact, and we’re proud to be part of that growth. SUMMER 2025 PROGRAM INFORMATION
We are thrilled to announce that LA Select North is bringing back our elite Summer Training Program to the San Fernando Valley for its third season and counting. Whether you're a returning player or new to our program, this is your opportunity to take your skills to the next level.
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Season Duration: June 2nd – July 13th, 2024
Ages: Girls in 6th – 12th grade
Location: Final schedule to be announced. We will practice at Glendale HS or Rosemont Middle school
Practice Schedule: Two sessions per week, each lasting two hours. We are aiming for the following:
Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm OR
Monday or Wednesday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Saturdays from 9am to 11am
TRAINING MEMBERSHIP
Our Training Membership is the foundation of the program and includes all practices. Players can choose to train only or opt-in for tournaments to gain valuable game experience.
Tournaments:
SoCal Summer Kickoff – June 7 & 8 in Irvine, CA
Battle by the Beach – June 28 & 29 in Irvine, CA
IWLCA West Coast Cup – July 19 & 20 in Norco, CA
Roster Formation:
Teams will be formed based on age, skill level, and practice performance.
We require a minimum of 14 players per team and cap rosters at 22.
Tournament spots are first-come, first-served. If demand exceeds capacity, additional teams may be formed.
NO TRYOUTS — OPEN REGISTRATION!
LA Select North welcomes all athletes, regardless of experience level. To ensure personalized player development, practices will be structured into groups based on skill level.
